What this website does with your data

The website has no user accounts and no server-side database. The enquiry form does not transmit your data to our servers.

When you submit the form, your browser builds a message from the information you entered and opens WhatsApp (wa.me). You then choose whether to press Send. Only at that moment does WhatsApp, a service provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited and Meta, process the message and deliver it to us. Their privacy policy applies to that processing, which may involve transfers outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards they provide.

Data you may provide

Name, email address, phone number, country, service and destination of interest, dates, times, number of guests, pick-up and drop-off locations and any free text you add. Please do not include special categories of data (for example health data) unless it is strictly necessary for your request.

Purpose and legal basis

We use this information to answer your enquiry, prepare a quote or handle a booking request. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and performance of the contract if one is concluded (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

If a contract is concluded, we also process data to comply with legal obligations, such as accounting and tax requirements (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Recipients of the data

Your data is processed by VCM Luxury personnel authorised to do so. To carry out the services you request, we may need to share the necessary details with the suppliers involved (for example carriers, accommodation and transport providers), only to the extent required to fulfil your request. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Providing your data

Providing your data is optional, but without the details marked as required in the form we cannot answer your enquiry or handle your request.

Temporary storage in your browser

While you fill in the form, the entered values are kept in your browser's session storage so that they are not lost if you switch language. They stay on your device, are removed when you close the tab or complete the request, and are not sent to us.

Retention

Enquiries and the related conversations are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and, if no contract follows, for no longer than 24 months from the last contact. If a contract is concluded, data is kept for the periods required by law for accounting and tax records (generally ten years).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, and object to its processing. To exercise these rights, write to lsposatoluxury@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).
